Frustration

This piece is something that I've been working on (oddly enough) for a couple of weeks. The footage that I used was for a project that fell through the cracks. In the original footage I was trying to retell the story of my coming out and was unable to. As this semester is coming to an end, I've been able to say that I am becoming more comfortable with myself and who I am.

The song that you hear is "You are my Sunshine" which was my great grandfather's favorite song. It means a lot to the family, and my great grandparents were always there expressing their love. Unfortunately, my great grandfather has passed away, but Great Grandma Emma is still kickin' telling me to do my best and stay true to who I am.

I'm proud to say that this class has helped me on more than an educational level.

ARTPOP

Keeping in mind that this isn't a true "performance art", I thought it was pretty.

It's Lady Gaga... meets Asia. With men. In heels.

I have no idea.

Enjoy.

Performance Was Good, Butterface. Woof.

I do believe that this video speaks for itself. It's my personal favorite in the arsenal of "performance art."

Minecraft Creeper, the Final Product

The project is done!

Instead of taking the idea of doing a flat grid, I did a three dimensional one. It really does add "dimension" to the project as a whole.

Minecraft Creeper, Progress

So, perler beads suck. Or my iron sucks.

I had to remake about two of the sections. And these beads are as light as a feather, they leap at the slightest bump.

They literally will jump off of the peg board.

Minecraft Grid Art

As I've previously posted about, Minecraft is a huge inspiration to a certain part of the art community, as it's become an art form in itself.

I've decided, after a bit of deliberation, whether it would be worth it or not, to try to do a 3D head of one of the characters in the game.

The character that I'll be trying to emulate is one of the "creepers". I can only hope that I figure out the whole 3D aspect of it.

I can only hope that I don't explode from frustration in the coming hours.
