Dubai Fireworks - $30 Million Dollars.

In Dubai, at a celebration, they spent over thirty million dollars on a single 10 minute show. The video was amazing, but I found myself enjoying the music rather than the fireworks on the screen.

Fireworks tend to be a form of art that's explosive and makes an impact (especially if you're too close). I find it a little hard to believe that they're able to spend $30 million on fireworks when there's larger problems there.

"Hey, wanna go solve world hunger?"
"Nah, I wanna blow some stuff up."

Granted, my answer would be to set some things on fire as well, but come on government. Don't they have a little say in what's going on?

Am I that Caffeine Dependant? Yep.

My name is Eric, and I'm currently in a class that takes a lot more brain power than I have in the morning. I'm hoping by the good graces of caffeinated beverages and sheer willpower that I'll be able to make it through in the morning.

I'm a full time staff member at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay where I am the Lead Adoption Counselor/Supervisor. At age 20, I find that to be quite an accomplishment in my life. I am originally from Minnesota, and one of the few natural blondes on campus thanks to my Scandinavian roots (literally).

I hope to grasp a better understanding throughout this class on how technology can truly tie into art other than the obvious forms like social media and sharing it through Google Images (never Bing).

I look forward to the class, even if I'm not 100% awake. As I said, caffeine is a friend.
